普拉布·平加利

国际与发展经济学家、国际与发展政策专家。美国康奈尔大学戴森应用经济与管理学院教授兼营养学部教授、全球发展系教授，塔塔-康奈尔农业与营养研究所创始所长。他的研究重点在农业、食物体系和营养及其相互关系，四十余年深耕于发展中国家的食物和农业政策、技术变革和影响评估等领域，在南亚和东南亚、撒哈拉以南非洲和拉丁美洲都有丰富的实地研究经验。作为塔塔-康奈尔农业与营养研究所创始所长，他组织主持的多学科行动计划专注于持续的农村贫困与营养不良问题，以及农业在缓解这些问题方面的作用。

Prabhu Pingali

Professor in the Charles H. Dyson School of Applied Economics and Management at Cornell University, the Founding Director of the Tata-Cornell Institute for Agriculture and Nutrition (TCI) and a joint appointment in both the Division of Nutritional Sciences and Department of Global Development. His current research is focused on the nexus of agriculture, food systems and nutrition. Prabhu has four decades of experience working on food and agricultural policy, technology change and impact assessment across the developing world. He has had on-the-ground research experience in South and Southeast Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa and Latin America. As Director of TCI, Prabhu has been charged with developing and managing a multidisciplinary action-research program that is focused on the chronic problems of rural poverty and malnutrition and the role of agriculture in alleviating the problems.
